STENCILRY

FAQ

What is stenciling?
Stenciling is basically this: you cut a design into a sheet of plastic, cardboard, paper, etc. then apply paint to it so it will reproduce the pattern on the surface beneath it. In recent years stenciling has become a popular art form. Whether you are looking to make your own t-shirts with readymade stencils or to express yourself through art you have created yourself, the tutorials page is a good place to get started.

Unauthorized use of your work?
Contact me, be specific (filename), and give a link to some kind of proof. If someone managed to steal it from you, that means it must be on the internet. Show me where.

Have a stencil you want added to this archive?
Email it to me at stencilry.org@gmail.com. Or post it in the forum. I check the forum frequently. Remember to include a short description of what it is. Also, don’t worry about me hotlinking/eating all your bandwidth, as I will be uploading it to my own server.

Want to request a stencil?
If you still don’t find what you are looking for, there is still hope. Maybe you don’t like a specific stencil, whatever, you can make a request for anything to be made. Post in the request forum and if no one else helps you out first, email it to me. If you really want a response, provide a picture to work from. And don’t be vague.
